Official’s Information
All OBHF referees must attend a certification clinic and pass a written exam in order to officiate within the OBHF. These clinics are offered in February and March every year. The certification is valid for one year, and referees are required to register annually. Upon successful completion of a clinic, referees receive a CBHA Casebook/Rulebook, and Officials Card. They will also receive copies of the OBHF Newsletter and Official's Update called "Technically Speaking". Timekeepers (Minor Officials)
We are looking for individuals who are interested in becoming a minor official timekeeping in the leagues. Previous experience would be preferred, but our division convenors will train on the job. Reliable transportation required as is a basic knowledge of the rules of the game. If interested please send us an email .

The South Simcoe Ball Hockey League is affiliated under the auspicious of the Ontario Ball Hockey Federation, the governing body for the sport in the province. The league offers programs at all eight divisions, Squirt (4 & 5), Tyke (6 & 7), Novice (8 & 9), Atom (10 & 11), Peewee (12 & 13), Girls U14, Girls U16, Girls U19, Bantam (14 & 15),and Junior (16 & 17).

The OBHF minor divisions included over just over 400 teams, culminating with League and Provincial Championships. Herein lies the opportunity for your company to make an immediate impact within our minor ball hockey family.
